A Beautiful Book All Around

Such a beautiful book by an author who clearly cares. I wish I would've had this book for my son when he was little - but it's a great tool for anyone who deals with kids ever - even in passing moments and conversations.

Great techniques easy for a child to understand and implement, told in a fun way!

I love this book! Purdee the Penguin, much like well-meaning family and friends, tries to help Polly forget about her stress, but the first attempts don't help at all. Purdee keeps trying, then helps Polly calm herself through breathing. Next, Purdee shares the truth that God (the "Brightest Light") wants to help everyone, but we must Be Still (quiet and brave) - something I wish had been explained to me so simply when I was Polly's age (it took me 50+ years to figure it out on my own)! The pages are filled with bright, colorful drawings of Purdee and Polly as they adventure through the day!I'm excited to share this book with my granddaughter and grandsons. They move a lot and will surely relate to brave Polly!

Incredible Book in a World Filled with Worries

Julie Small!!! Thank you for writing a book that can fill our children’s minds, souls and spirits with the truth of God’s love. We don’t need to learn how to worry… that comes so easy in this world. But we all need to learn some practical solutions to conquer worry and fear!! Thank you for this beautiful gem of a book… and oh my gosh… the coloring book is my daughter’s favorite. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
