Easter Hope: Why Your Story Isn’t Over Yet

There’s something beautiful about this time of year. All of my roses are blooming. Birds are chirping loudly and quickly building their nests. They came and built them last year and the year before.

As we move closer to Easter, it’s easy to get caught up in all the things—baskets, plans, family meals, chocolate.

But Easter is so much more than a day. It’s a reminder  that:
What looked like the end… wasn’t. What felt lost… was redeemed. What seemed broken… was restored. Jesus didn’t stay in the grave. And because of that, we don’t have to stay stuck either.

Before Sunday comes, take a moment.

Breathe.

Remember what this means for you personally. Your past is not your future. Your mistakes are not your identity. Your story is still being written.

Because Jesus lives, you can begin again. You can walk in freedom. You can have great hope—right here, right now.

Jesus,

Thank You for the cross… and for the empty tomb.
Help me not rush past what You’ve done for me.

Remind my heart that hope is alive—today and always. No matter what. And thank You, Jesus, that because of YOU, the best is yet to come!

Amen.
